I had a hard time mixin this one. Lots o’ hihat on the snare channel and lost the drum dynamics during the high octane parts.

That’s cool I had a hard time playing it….
PS- I moved my HH forward, and I think that’s why there was more bleed though. I rotated the mic away from the HH, but I guess that wasn’t enough. Maybe a sound check when we do tunes w/ the maple snare. I have a nice maple custom piccolo that has the bark with less bite. I can try to get it over on Monday- or maybe we can do a set up on Sunday? I’ll call ya later tonight.
